Ductilometer 1500 mm
Bituminous binder (bitumen) analysis equipment
Bituminous binder analysis is key to ensuring the quality, durability, and safety of pavements for roads, airports, and road infrastructure projects. In this section, you will find specialized laboratory equipment to evaluate the fundamental properties of bitumen, such as ductility, consistency, penetration, and softening point.
1500 mm Ductilometer
Function: Measures the ductility and elastic recovery of bitumen, with real-time recording and display.
Standards: EN 13398, ASTM D113, AASHTO T 51
Applications: Evaluation of binder elongation under tensile conditions.
Advantages: Up to 4 simultaneous stations, Windows-based software, digitized force and displacement.
Features: Dimensions: 2300 x 500 x 380 mm, Load: 500 N, Speed: 1-50 mm/min, PC-operated.
1500 mm Digital Ductilometer
Stainless steel housing with insulated water bath, hinged lid with glass window, and a stepper motor-driven traction device with constant feed speed and digital displacement measurement. The included software allows for user-oriented programming and controls the test sequence with online force and displacement output, along with test evaluation including planimetry calculation.
Simultaneous testing of up to four samples
Electronic version for PC operation with software for Windows 10 and above
To determine ductility under load, one measuring point is equipped with a 500 N force transducer, 0.1 N resolution (special 100 N version, 0.01 N resolution). Up to three additional force transducers can be installed.
Test data storage in a dBase format database.
(Operation requires a PC with monitor and keyboard. Molds, bath temperature control unit, and PC are not included.)
