Functional pavement evaluation: Autopistas del Café – Coffee Axis, Colombia
Strinso conducted a comprehensive functional pavement evaluation along the highway corridor managed by the Autopistas del Café concession in the Colombian Coffee Axis. This project was developed under contract with Grupo Constructor Autopistas del Café and aimed to create a detailed inventory of pavement distresses throughout the corridor, including their typology, severity, and georeferencing.
The intervention initially covered 508 lane-kilometers, including all main roads under the concession. Subsequently, the scope was expanded to include an additional 58 lane-kilometers and the manual survey of 4 key intersections, totaling 566 lane-kilometers evaluated.
