The structural evaluation and Pavement Management System (PMS) update project for the Barranquilla port road corridor analyzes the structural and functional capacity of the rigid pavement along 26.6 km of roadway. With the support of advanced technologies including deflectometers, multifunctional survey vehicles, and friction and roughness measurement systems a comprehensive diagnosis is obtained to identify critical distresses and define maintenance strategies.
Thanks to the P.E.R.S. software, optimized intervention plans are developed to extend the service life of the infrastructure and ensure the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of this strategic corridor for Colombia’s port competitiveness.
